Founded in the early 1920s by Francesco Rabotti, our company was born from the dream of innovating the emerging automotive sector. Starting with the production of components for the first automobiles, Rabotti quickly embraced the world of test benches, becoming the first global player to offer solutions for the repair and testing of diesel injection systems.
Over time, Rabotti has undergone major transformations, always driven by innovation. From our historic collaboration with the FIAT Group and Magneti Marelli to the development of the first test benches for Common Rail systems, our growth has always been rooted in technical expertise, experimentation, and a willingness to embrace change.
With the creation of the “Special Projects” division, Rabotti expanded its reach: we design custom test stations for OEM manufacturers and research centers worldwide. From prototype testing to end-of-line quality control, our solutions precisely match each customer’s needs, ensuring high performance and maximum reliability.
Today, Rabotti plays a leading role in the technological transition of the automotive industry. We collaborate with universities and international partners to develop new diagnostic systems for automotive battery applications. Our story continues, driven by a clear vision: anticipating change while staying true to our identity.
Rabotti was founded in 1925 by Francesco Rabotti, originally under the name “Francesco Rabotti.” A few years later, the company built its first test benches for calibrating diesel injection pumps and electric benches for testing starters and dynamos.
The company is founded by Francesco Rabotti.
Production begins on the world’s first test benches for injection pumps.
Incorporated into the FIAT group, within Magneti Marelli.
The Pizzale family, now the current owner and a historic name in Piedmontese entrepreneurship, acquires the company, reviving the brand and continuing the production of test benches for the automotive sector.
The first vehicles with “Common Rail” injection systems hit the market. In collaboration with the Fiat Research Center, the first laboratory test bench for Diesel Common Rail systems is developed.
The rapid spread of Common Rail systems drives the production of test benches for injection system repair specialists. The first camboxes for EUI/EUP repair and the first TEC100 for Common Rail are introduced.
Development of the first end-of-line testing machines for OEMs, marking the start of special machine production. A new business unit is established for producing laboratory test benches for research centers and injection system manufacturers.
A full range of TEC products is launched for workshops specializing in Diesel injection system repair.
Development of special machines for laboratories and manufacturers of injection systems in various sectors (automotive, marine, aerospace, earthmoving).
New projects in the field of lithium module diagnostics for hybrid/electric vehicles. Development of a new product range for workshops aligned with the latest technologies in Common Rail injection systems.
